Introduction

After you select the Sign Up button, an overlay will appear that the account is being created, followed by another overlay that states, ‘Create Settings.’ Click the Settings button to be directed to your Settings.

By default, the I am an appraiser radio button will be enabled. If you are an AMC, you can toggle to the I am an AMC option, but otherwise leaving the I am an appraiser option at the default setting is recommended.

Appraisal Types

First section within the Settings section is determining which Appraisal Types you are eligible to perform. At least one of these options must be enabled. Making a selection will prompt what other Settings will need to be entered to fully create your Appraisal Firewall account. Additionally, choosing an Appraisal Type(s) will determine your eligibility for order types placed by a lender. Any and all combinations of these types can be applied.

  • Residential – Applies to all orders marked as Residential by the lender and determines assignment eligibility. For example, an appraiser that only marks Commercial would not be eligible to receive orders designated as Residential or Verisite Photo Agent.
  • Commercial – Applies to all orders marked as Commercial by the lender and determines assignment eligibility. For example, an appraiser that only enables Residential would not be eligible to receive orders designated as Commercial or Verisite Photo Agent.
  • Verisite Photo Agent – Applies to all orders created as the Verisite Mobile Property Inspection tool. With Verisite placed orders, you take photos of the subject property through the Verisite app on your mobile device.

Once the Appraisal Types have been selected, choose the Next button. This will direct you to the subsequent section, Licenses.

Licenses

The Licenses section is where you designate which state(s) you are licensed to perform appraisals. Your license will need to be valid to accept and deliver reports through the system.

Refer to the Create Fixed Pricing link on how to utilize this feature.

Depending on your coverage, you can select ADD COUNTY or ADD MULTIPLE COUNTIES.

  • Add County – Select the State from the dropdown. This will populate a list of all counties within that state, which can be selected under the County dropdown. After you have entered your county, select the SAVE button.
