Appraisal Firewall Updates Scheduled for Friday Morning, May 1st, 2020 Release Information for Appraisers New: Appraisers Can Now Place Verisite Orders Directly to Homeowners To help you stay safe and healthy through social distancing, we are offering appraisers like you the ability to order our Verisite product directly from homeowners. Verisite is a mobile app that helps homeowners (and appraisers – or anyone with the app installed) collect interior property data for you, gathering the information you need to help complete your orders. Face-to-face contact is eliminated, allowing you to maintain social distance while placing the order to the homeowner’s mobile device. Verisite is free for appraisers to use for the month of May. With the Verisite app on their mobile device, the homeowner collects property data (interior pictures, textual descriptions) and provides it back to you for review and assistance in developing your appraisal reports as needed. Our goal is to make Verisite a direct resource for you, making it easier and safer to develop your reports for your clients.
The only requirement to Verisite usage is that the homeowner (or person you are requesting the interior site information from) has a web-connected mobile device: smartphone or iPad. Verisite Provides Features You Can’t Get Anywhere Else:- Verisite makes sure the homeowner data is true and not fraudulent, protecting your reputation and your business.
- Geo-location to ensure the photos are of the property you are requesting.
- Geo-located photos are plotted on the subject property map to eliminate fraud.
- 2 years’ worth of usage in the lending industry with a premium feature-set to prove it.
- Coming Soon: 3D room depth verification to make sure the pictures are of actual rooms, and not pictures out of a magazine.
How Verisite Works When you place a Verisite order, a text and email will be sent to the homeowner. They will be prompted to install the Verisite mobile app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once installed, the Verisite app instructs them on what photos and information is needed. It takes them step-by-step through the interior inspection process to help you. With Verisite, you can expect to get interior photos and descriptions of the following property features:- Living Room
