Using the Vacation Hold feature in Appraisal Firewall allows you to stay on panels, but to not be automatically assigned orders during a set range of dates. This is especially handy when you go on vacation, or if you wish to not perform inspections during specific times but want to stay on panels. If you do choose to set your profile up to not receive orders during a set time period, you may want to let your lenders know. Here’s how to quickly and easily do this.
1. Login to your account, and click the Profile button at top left, between the setting gear and question mark buttons. This is usually a person icon or a small version of your picture or your company logo.
2. On the drop-down screen, click the My Profile button.
3. Your profile screen will then open. Find the Vacation checkbox and check it.
a. Then click in the Start Date field to choose when orders will no longer be assigned to you.
b. Click in the End Date field to select when you should start to be assigned orders again.
4. Save your changes. On save, you will have successfully set yourself to not be assigned orders during the set date range but will still be on your lenders’ panels.
