New Profile Picture Uploads and Appraiser Scheduling Calendar Now Available
Starting Friday morning, March 22nd, 2019, a new version of Appraisal Firewall will be available. This release includes a property inspection scheduling calendar for you to communicate with subject property owners, a more personable environment with the ability to upload Profile Pictures, and more. Read on for detail.
Introduce Yourself Visually! New Ability to Upload a Profile Picture to Your Account The people you work with in Appraisal Firewall know a bit about you professionally, but now you can introduce yourself visually to your professional relationships. To make the software more personable, we have added the ability for you to upload a profile picture (similar to how LinkedIn does).
How to upload a profile picture: Login to your account and in the upper left side of the screen, click the person icon, and select My Profile. On your profile screen, you will see a new section at left that allows you to upload a profile picture. Click the Add Image button and select a picture from your computer to upload it into the system. Once in place, your profile picture will be included when Appraisal Firewall auto-emails the property contact access person to schedule the inspection. |

Inspection Scheduler Lets You Do More within the Appraisal System You can now schedule your property inspections right from within Appraisal Firewall with the new Inspection Scheduler. You no longer need to send separate emails or phone calls to the seller (or property access contact) to schedule inspections: it can all be done right within the system!
Additionally, with the new ability to upload Profile Pictures, the property access contact can match your face with your name. Click here for a user training guide on working with the inspection scheduling feature.
Overview of How it Works- On the Accept Order screen, you can select a primary and secondary date and time to send to the property access contact (seller, Realtor, etc.).
- The date and time information you select will be emailed to the email address that was entered into the Contact to Access Property section of the order along with any notes you want to include.
- When the Property Contact person opens the email, they can review the times you have suggested and approve one or provide an alternate time. You will be sent an email notification when the entry contact responds.
- When an inspection time is approved by the entry contact, the order status will automatically change to Scheduled Inspection.

Property Access Contact Now Auto-Emailed when Inspection Date is Set To try and reduce some of the smaller tasks involved with the appraisal process, Appraisal Firewall now automatically notifies the property access contact via email when you set the inspection date and time. The email will include the date and time of the scheduled inspection, as well as the name of the appraiser that will be visiting the property. This will automatically help keep everyone on the same page.
How to use this feature: When you use the Send Status feature to notify your clients that the inspection has been scheduled, whatever email address that was entered into the Contact to Access Property section by the lender when the order was placed will receive a notification email. This will let them know the date and time of the inspection as well as who will be performing the inspection. If you have uploaded a profile picture, this will also be included in the email.
