Starting Friday, November 16th, we will release an enhanced version of Appraisal Firewall. With this release, we will be enabling you to upload files to cancelled orders. Read below for complete detail.
- Appraisers Enabled to Upload to Cancelled Orders
When an appraisal order is cancelled, there is frequently cause for you to set a cancellation fee due to work you may have already performed on a property. While the system always allows you to set a cancellation fee for costs incurred, you will now be able to upload property photos and files to cancelled orders to offer proof of work completed.
How to use this feature:
You can upload files to cancelled orders in two ways. First, open a cancelled order and select Deliver Report. Click the Attachments button and select any files that should be sent to the lender. Alternately, click the Cancellation Fee option (if within 24 hours of order cancellation), enter an amount, select a New Attachment, and then click Send.
